Gabrielle Astruc was born in 1988 in Paris, France. She moved to the United States in 2010 and has been living in NYC since 2012.

Photography was always a big part of her life. She enjoys capturing candid and mischievous snapshots as well as urban colors and geometry. What hooked her to street photography are the unpredictable and impulsive aspects of it. The world always finds ways to surprise her and she gets a kick out of capturing real moments of life and beauty on the streets.
